THE NAAD WORLD · COFFEE

India Is Not One Coffee Origin.

India is one of the world's most diverse coffee origins. From the Western Ghats to the Eastern Ghats, landscapes, soils, climates and communities create an extraordinary range of coffees.

Its coffee story is shaped by different regions, varieties, farming communities and ways of processing. Every origin brings another possibility of understanding and experiencing.

We chose to focus on Indian coffee because of its complexity, its people and its potential.

There is so much to explore, appreciate and share and we believe Indian coffee deserves a larger place in the world.

ORIGIN & PARTNERSHIPS

The Sources

We work with established estates across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Odisha, while exploring emerging regions such as Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, and the Northeast.

We seek out farms that practise natural farming, biodynamic agriculture and shade-grown agroforestry. While select partners hold Organic and Rainforest Alliance certifications, our focus goes beyond labels to the principles of biodiversity, soil health and long-term sustainability.

Among these, Balmaadi Estate holds a special place for us. Its award-winning, biodynamically grown coffee reflects the distinctive character of Indian terroir.
